Volterra Through the Mist - Tuscany Collection Fine Art Print
Entering into the building, there were the most incredible frescos on the walls and ceiling. The start of the climb up to the top of the medieval tower was on normal iron steps but the last little bit was quite the experience! The tower and stair became very narrow and at the very end, there was a little manhole to come through to arrive on the platform. On a sunny day the view would be pretty special but from a photographic point of view, I think I prefer the day we had. I love how the terracotta buildings drift off into the distance until they are enveloped by fog.
