Cinque Terre would have to be one of the most famous and picturesque places along the Italian Riviera, known for it's colourful houses stacked precariously up the hillside, overlooking the sea and the steep, terraced hills, it is a must see on many people's bucket lists. This photograph makes up part of the Cinque Terre series and is of Riomaggiore. The houses in the town have all been built in the gully between the two hills, right down to the water's edge and make quite the stunning spectacle for visitors to the town. I love the contrast of the brightly painted houses in this photograph against the dreamy blue swirly, whispy water patterns.
