The image has not been altered in any way - I photographed it in such a way that the detail would blur into a pop of colour, with only one single focal point. This artwork works equally well alongside other artworks from the series or as a standalone piece. In a series, the artworks can be of a more modest size, depending on how you plan to frame them and depending on your space. As a standalone, the bigger the better!
